  15. Unfortunately, with version 2.20 of the firmware, it is impossible
  16. to determine whether a modem has RPI+ only or RPI+ AND  hardware
  17. error correction by merely looking at the ATI3 string.
  18. If the documentation indicates there is hardware error correction,
  19. I am inclined to believe that you have an ACF type modem
  20. which has hardware error correction and can also use RPI+
  21. for software based error correction.
